The goal of Physical Education is to teach the students how to live a lifestyle of physical activity and to learn the limits of the body and how to have fun while exercising and living a health conscience life.

In teaching the students this the Physical Education classes do a series physical fitness tests through out the year to see that the students are progressing. They also play games such as: frisbee golf, flag football, soccer, badmintion, pickle ball, castle ball, quadball, square dancing, aerobics, wiffleball, field hockey, floor hockey, team handball, bowling, ultimate frisbee, archrey, volleyball, basketball, and at the end of the year when it is warm the students play and learn leisure activities. These games are ment to help the student learn certain aspects of physical activity. The student also participate in weight lifting sessions so that they can learn how to build muscle the right way with out hurting themselves.

Every student enrolled in High School will be enrolled in instructional physical education, per the provisions of the State of Illinois regulation requiring physical education for all students. Students with handicaps are scheduled into special activities, which will be within the limits of their handicap. No student can be excused from the physical education class by a doctor's recommendation. Students with a handicap will need written descriptions of the handicaps and identifications of the students' physical limitation from the doctor. Students unable to participate will be assigned written work.
